Defro Komfort Ekopell 14 kW is an innovative combination boiler that uses state-of-the-art pellet and woodtechnology offers the highest efficiency. Thanks to the automatic combustion control, the heat is optimally utilized, which not only reduces heating costs but also lowers emissions. The combustion of pellets in a fine size class of 6 to 8 mm ensures efficient and continuous energy output.
The special flue gas routing and the ceramic baffle plate contribute to stable combustion and extend the service life of the boiler. This gives you a heating system that operates both powerfully and environmentally friendly.
Intuitive operation and smart control
The operation of the pellet boiler is carried out via a modern touchscreen that allows easy adjustment of the heating parameters. Thanks to the weather-compensated heating circuit control, the system automatically adapts to outdoor temperatures to ensure a constant room temperature.
In addition, the automatic burner cleaning ensures reduced maintenance effort and consistently high performance. The integrated buffer management stores excess heat, minimizing energy losses.
Flexibility and additional functions for individual requirements
A special highlight of the boiler is the option of emergency wood operation. With an optional conversion kit, the boiler can also be operated with wood if needed – an ideal solution when flexibility in the energy supply is required. The large-volume pellet container also allows for longer operating times without frequent refilling.
The compact design and versatile installation options, such as the possibility of using the chimney multiple times in natural draft mode, ensure easy integration into almost any boiler room.
Buffer tank for heating and solar – Optimal heat storage
The integrated buffer tank offers an efficient solution for temporarily storing the generated heat. It is ideally suited for combinations with various heat generators such as oil, gas, solar, or heat pumps. This prevents frequent refueling during cold winter days and ensures stable heating operation.
By storing heat energy in a robust steel housing and high-quality polyester fiber fleece insulation, the generated heat is optimally preserved. A welded-in smooth-tube heat exchanger ensures fast and efficient heat transfer, so that both heating and solar systems are optimally supported.
Connection package for buffer tank – Economical and energy-efficient
The universal connection package facilitates the needs-based connection of the buffer tank to existing heating and solar systems. The innovative connection insulation ensures that unused connections are optimally insulated, thereby significantly reducing heat loss.
With an integrated insulating plug for all 1½" connections, heat emissions are significantly reduced. This keeps the stored energy where it is needed – in your heating system. The included hydraulic diagram supports quick and uncomplicated installation.
Extended connection options and comprehensive accessories
The Defro Komfort Ekopell also impresses with a comprehensive accessory package. In addition to the standard equipment, the package includes modules such as GSM, internet connection via WIFI, and various room thermostats. These extensions enable future-proof control and monitoring of your heating system.
The accessories ensure flexible application options and individual adaptation to different needs. From return temperature boosting to special boiler safety groups, all safety-relevant aspects are taken into account.
Expansion vessel – Safe pressure compensation in your heating system
In addition to the
pellet boiler
and buffer tank, the high-quality expansion vessel is an essential component of your heating system. Available in various sizes (80, 100, 140, and 200 liters), it supports safe pressure compensation and prevents damage caused by temperature fluctuations.
With an operating pressure of 3 bar and a maximum flow temperature of 110°C, the expansion vessel guarantees stable operation. The integration of a standardized 1" thread enables uncomplicated installation, so the system can be put into operation quickly and efficiently.
