How it works:
1. Excess electricity:
The photovoltaic system often generates more electricity than is directly consumed in the household, especially when the sun is shining.
2. Heating element:
Excess electricity is directed to a heating element in the hot water tank.
3. Heat conversion:
The heating element converts electricity into heat and heats the water in the storage tank.
100-liter hot water storage tank ETWS
The hot water storage tank 100-liter ETWS combines state-of-the-art technology with high reliability for central hot water preparation. A highly efficient heat exchanger with a surface area of 1.2 m² utilizes the thermal energy from your solar system or boiler and heats up to 180 liters of domestic hot water comfortably and economically.
A high-quality enamel coating inside the tank, supplemented by a generous magnesium anode, ensures long-lasting corrosion protection. Thanks to the integrated polyurethane insulation, heat losses remain low (only 28 W power loss) and the temperature is maintained up to a maximum of 95 °C.
High-performance bifacial PV solar module Trina Vertex S+
The Trina Vertex S+ module delivers a peak output of up to 435 Wp and achieves one of the best efficiencies on the market at 21.8%. Thanks to the bifacial double-glass design, rear-side light is also effectively utilized in addition to the front side, increasing the energy yield by up to 85%.
The robust construction with a compressive strength of 5,400 Pa on the front and 4,000 Pa on the rear ensures maximum resistance to hail, snow, and wind pressure. With a length of 1,762 mm, a width of 1,134 mm, and a weight of 21.8 kg, the module can be used flexibly on residential and commercial roofs.
1.5 kW heating element for reliable support
The 1.5 kW electric heating element made of high-quality stainless steel enables precise temperature control between 5 °C and 75 °C thanks to an integrated thermostat. A switch-on hysteresis of 7–10 °C ensures stable temperature values and minimizes switching cycles.
With frost protection function and a safety temperature limiter at 93 °C, the heating element can be used safely even on cold days. The compact installation length of 300 mm, the IPX4 protection rating and an operating pressure of up to 10 bar make it the ideal addition for hot water tanks and PV solar systems.
